SOCOBOX x NIVEA

Akhirnya paket yang ditunggu-tunggu datang juga! Beberapa waktu lalu aku ikutan share nightime routine aku di soco.id untuk kesempatan dapat Socobox x Nivea dan aku salah satu peserta beruntung yang mendapatkan hadiahnya.

Produk yang dikirim dibungkus rapih di dalam box khas Sociolla. Di dalamnya ada empat produk yaitu Nivea Soft Cream, Nivea Hydration Micellair Skin Breathe, Nivea Sensational Body Lotion, dan Nivea Body Souffle.

Produk pertama yang aku buka adalah Nivea Soft karena packaging-nya yang imut dan tertera tulisan "Krim pelembab halus, lembut, dan segar", yang bikin aku jadi langsung pengen cobain. Waktu dibuka wanginya bikin aku teringat sama wangi pelembab yang khas semasa aku kecil. Aku coba oleskan ke tangan, teksturnya halus dan langsung meresap ke kulit tidak meninggalkan rasa lengket. Ketika diraba permukaan kulit juga terasa halus.

Produk berikutnya yang aku coba yaitu Nivea Sensational Body Lotion. Body lotion nya bertekstur ringan khas Nivea, tapi kali ini wanginya baru dan segar wangi Orange Blossom. Recommended untuk dipakai di pagi hari karena tidak lengket dan wanginya segar.

Karena aku sangat suka pelembab kulit, jadi produk ketiga yang aku buka yaitu Nivea Body Souffle. Diantara ketiga pelembab yang diberikan, produk ini yang memiliki konsistensi paling kental dan terdapat butiran berwarna orange yang merupakan butiran Jojoba oil. Menurut aku produk ini paling cocok digunakan ketika kulit terasa kering dan digunakan di malam hari sebelum tidur, supaya ketika bangun kulit terasa lembab dan halus.

Dan yang terakhir ada Nivea Hydration Micellair Skin Breathe. Jujur aku belum pernah memakai produk ini, dari keterangan yang tertera sepertinya produk ini dapat digunakan untuk pengganti sabun cuci muka yang dapat membersihkan wajah setelah make up remover tanpa harus dibilas dengan air. Ditulis juga bahwa produk ini tidak membuat kulit kering karena mengandung Hyaluronic acid, Golden algae, Hydra IQ dan Marine salt. Untuk produk ini bakal aku coba dulu untuk sementara waktu sebelum aku review.

So that's all keempat produk yang aku dapat dari kolaborasi Sociolla dengan Nivea. Pastinya semua produk pelembab bakal aku pakai karena kulit aku sangat cinta pelembab dan untuk Micellair Hydration akan aku coba dahulu. Favourite Drink This Season

Short blog post of my favourite chocolate drink, because it is worth to mention and if you haven't try it, I encourage you to try. Christmas is approaching and in my mind the holiday season means drinking a cozy hot chocolate, or in my case ice chocolate, and enjoying your day at home.

I found this choco drink when I stroll at a supermarket, it is a local brand and it looks good on the packaging, so I decided to give it a try. Since the weather outside is hot, I make it with ice and it taste really good. The chocolate is rich in flavour and not too sweet. I am happy that our Indonesian local brand can make a tasty chocolate drink with reasonable price too. Definitely it is my favourite choco drink. 

If you want to make it with ice like mine, first brew the choco powder with a little bit of hot water and stir it until dissolve. Then add a cup of ice into it, stir again until it mixed and cold. 

Facial Roller

My favourite skincare tools this month is my facial roller.  I've been eyeing for a face roller for a while, because it can depuffed your face and give a healthier skin appearance, and finally I bought it about 3 months ago for the purpose to prepare my face for my wedding day. It soothes the skin and relaxes my facial muscles. Since then I have been enjoying this facial roller on my pampering day. 

Usually I use it at the evening to relax the tension on my face muscle. I start it with cleansing my face, put my skincare regime then I use the roller to make the skincare sink in and a treat after a tiring day. But it can also be use in the morning to depuffed the face or eye area. To give a soothing effect, before I use the face roller, I put it in the fridge to make it cool. 

There are some stores that sell this kind of facial roller with different price range. I bought my Rose Quartz roller (because I love the pink color) at the Socialla store in Lippo Mall Puri or you get it on their website.

Everyday Minimal Makeup

I'm in the mood for an easy everyday makeup since I have a lot of work to do lately. I use neutral color eyeshadow and lipstick so I don't have to worry when I'm applying it in a rush. So here's my current daily makeup..

I always start my makeup from the eyes, I fill in my brows with The Faceshop Design My Eyebrow to frame my eyes. Then I use Maybelline Color Tattoo in the shade Bad to the Bronze all over my lid, I use it because I don't have to prime my oily eyelid and it will stay put throughout the day. 

I lined my eyes with Maybelline Hyper Sharp Liner and create small wing on the outer corner to make my eyes look bigger. I finish my eye makeup with a coat of Grandiose mascara from Lancome.

Moving on to face, I cover my dark circles with the combination of EM Cosmetics concealer and Make Up For Ever Full Cover concealer. I am lucky enough not having too much redness or blemishes so I just use The Body Shop Loose Powder all over my face. 

To make the face looks fresh and glowing, I use The Body Shop Honey Bronzer in the shade no.3 on the hollow of my cheek and Clinique cheek pop in peach pop on the apple of my cheeks. For lips I use Too Face La Creme Lipstick in Spice Spice Baby for a natural everyday color.

My Skincare Routine

I wanted to share my skincare routine that keeps me away from breakout. As I have share in the previous blogpost, I have an oily and sensitive skin that can easily breakout. This skincare routine may help some of you who has the same skin type, but keep in mind that everybody's skin are varies and my skincare routine may not be suitable for you.

Day 

Morning Skin Care

I have an oily skin, so in the morning I need to cleanse my face from the greasiness throughout the night. I use Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser for combination to oily skin type to cleanse my face. 

After I pat dry my face, I spray Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist to rehydrate my skin and kickstart my day. 

I follow up with Kiehl's Avocado Eye Cream for my dry under eye area and Cetaphil SPF 15 Moisturiser for my overall face and neck. 

Then I finish up my routine by applying Jurlique Lip Care Balm to prep my lips before I wear my makeup.


Evening

Evening Skin Care

Usually I don't use makeup on my daily basis, but if I'm wearing makeup, I'll remove my makeup with Clarins Makeup Remover. 

Then I cleanse my face with Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser to remove any remaining makeup or dirt on my face. 

After I cleanse my face I spray it with Jurlique Rosewater Face Mist, follow with The Body Shop Drops of Youth to boost the benefit of my serum, which is Jurlique Rose Serum. 

I always use Kiehl's Avocado Eye Cream to moisturise my eye area. At the moment I use Jurlique Calendula Cream for my night time moisturizer, but I think it's too greasy for my skin type, leave a comment if you have night time moisturiser suggestions for oily/sensitive skin. 

Last but not least, I always apply Jurlique Lip Care Balm to keep my lips smooth. 

February Favorites

February Favorites 

I've been loving a simple routine in February and I always reach for EM Love Life Palette that I have placed in the travel palette that comes with it.

My next favorite is Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist, I love the rose scent in it, it refreshes me in the morning and also it can be use throughout the day. I also have a review about this skin care brand in the previous blog post. 

Still in the same brand, I've been loving Jurlique Lip Care Balm to moisturise my lips. I use also reapply it throughout the day before I reapply my lipstick or lipgloss. 

I have dry skin on my body, especially my legs, so I always use moisturiser. I've been loving The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Butter at night and it moisturises my skin for the whole day. 

I love this Lancome Grandiose Mascara because it curls, volumes, and lengthens my lashes. It is also easy to remove because it is not a waterproof mascara. 

Last but not least, I am trying this Lavie Lash type Rosie from my January's Sociolla Box. I like it doesn't have the thick lash band, it feels lightweight and looks like you naturally have long thick lashes. 

My February's Sociolla Box

I wanted to share my thoughts about my monthly subscription beauty box. First of all how cute is that cookie, isn't it. Well here's what I get inside my February's Sociolla Box:

1. Rose Allure

This is an organic based Indonesian product that suitable for dry skin that needs a lot of moisture. But for daily use I'll say this lotion is too greasy. It has a nice spicy rose smell, I think this lotion will be nice to use if you are having a relaxation massage. 

2. Dr. Jart+ Beauty Balm

This BB cream has a nice consistency and light coverage. It evens out my skin tone, give hydration and doesn't break my skin. But since I have an oily skin, it gets oily throughout the day especially on my T-zone and get smudge under my eyes.

3. Juara Clove Flower & Turmeric Serum 

This is another Indonesian plant based product in this beauty box. It is a nice product but I don't really like the smell of it. I don't think I'll buy the full size especially with the price tag about Rp. 900.000,00++.

4. Itsy Luxury Nail Wraps

I haven't try this product because I want to wait until my nails grow long enough to use this beautiful pattern nail wraps. 

5. Menard Face Mask

This face mask is my most favorite product in this beauty box. It has a cooling sensation while you are using it, it is very relaxing, which is why in the product direction says use it at night before sleep. The next morning after I use this mask I wake up with smoother texture and my skin looks glowing.
